Wiebke KenShin Andersen
Born in Germany, Wiebke KenShin Beckmann-Andersen is an ordained Zen Buddhist nun. In addition to assisting Claude AnShin Thomas in his teaching work, she serves as chief administrator of the Zaltho Foundation, Inc., dedicating herself to addressing the causes and consequences of war and violence.
She travels frequently internationally with Claude AnShin Thomas, helping to organize and lead retreats, public talks, and other events. She has a special interest in the transgenerational impacts of war, and she supports retreats in Germany exploring this subject. She studied accounting and holds an honorary doctorate in Humane Letters from Moravian College, Bethlehem, PA.
